The Husband brought a rainbow loom set for my 4 yeard old baby girl a few weeks back. At that time my understanding of this tiny little rubbers where that it was a hit among elementary and middle school kids. I never, never could imagine the under ground world that existed just under my nose… That is why that kit stayed on top of the bookshelf (what better place to storage it?) for another week. It was then, on a boring sunday afternoon, that in order to entertain my 6 year old son, I decided to give “this thing” a try. I heard people looking at You Tube for instructions.,.and there we were, looking at videos and trying a few things. Hours have passed, kids have taken a bath, eaten, gone to bed all with the help of their father…when finally The Husband says : “honey, i think you have a problem. You are obsessed.” I raised my head, felt a pain in my neck and glanced at the clock ready to shout “what are you talking about?” When I saw the time…. midnight, yes, “Huston, I do have a problem”.
This is why I am writing this post. For you, my rainbow loom obsessed friend. I made a compilation of my favorite you tube videos so you can aim straight to the target. No more time, experimenting with instructions that are too crazy to follow. With these videos, you can create a few type of bracelets that look difficult at first, but are really easy to make. Think of xmas gifts and all the colors you can mix and match. You can make one for your children’s teacher too!
