My baby brother lives in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro. Immediately you think. “HOT! SO COOL! I want to live there too!” I tell ya. You don’t. Living in Rio and in Ipanema only means two things. You are single and live in a cubicle AND you want to party. It is the same concept as living in NYC. Unless you have a lot of dough to afford a nice big place you do what my brother did. You go minimalist. He has very few things in his gigantic cubicle. Of course, all of them could be related to VOGUE House magazine that is why when he asked me for some stool ideas to help him get some extra seating I had to control myself to not jump from my seat and scream. YES! I have a good taste! I told ya! Promptly I started my research on it (before he changes his mind, of course)… and these are my favorite ones:
From the options above, I already attempted to do the cement stool and the wood stump. I will blog about my experience on it soon, but I have to tell you NOW, in case you are like me and you lack of this nice virtue some call patience. The cement stool is SUPER easy to do. The wood stump… not so. I am pretty sure that you can be creative and get inspired with the magazine stool no…? I believe that is an easy one.
As far as my brother’s opinion on this? Well…he thought all of them were cool, but I guess he preferred to go with a cassette stool. Uh? This?
Yeah, a stool made of cassettes from the 80s. For the youngest, we used these things to record Bon Jovi in the radio and get the advertisement in the middle of the song…sad.
